Chanille Parrot in Birdcage Limoges Box

This gorgeous bright red macaw has a terrific cage with a metal perch right in the center that actually swings from side to side! There are trays of food and water in the bottom of the cage and gracefully curved metal bars that meet in a loop at the top, perhaps to hang the cage near a window. The edges of the cage are decorated with tiny blue flowers and green leaves and it sits on three round feet. The clasp is a flying bird and there is a red and yellow feather painted inside. The box is marked Chanille Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 3"h x 1¾"w.
