Chanille Piano Music Box Limoges Box

This is the Grand-est piano of them all, and it has a secret music box tucked inside! It is shiny black with silver legs and an incredible scene painted on top. There are several instruments such as a violin, lyre and horn, lying with a book of open sheet music. Garlands of roses wrap around the edges, The clasp is a tiny lyre and there is a tiny bar inside to prop open the lid just like a real grand piano. The bar has a treble clef at the top, which is a nice touch. Hidden under the velvety red cover is a music box which plays the Theme from Love Story. The box is marked Chanille Peint Main, Limoges France and is numbered by the artist. It measures 2"h x 3½"d.
