Picnic Basket Limoges Box

A loaf of bread, a jug of wine and thou beside me…. Yep, we have everything we need for a picnic! The basket is textured and painted as if it is made of straw with two hinged lids that cover the contents of the basket. The lids are painted with a beautiful country scene of the perfect place to picnic - shady trees, blue stream, and a path to the town in the distance. A little butterfly sits on top of the metal handle. Tucked inside the box are the picnic goodies - wine, bread, meat, plates…it's all here! The box is marked Peint Main, Limoges France and measures 2¾"h x 2½"w.
