Chanille Drum Set Limoges Box

Here's another incredible box from Chanille! It shows the drummer for the Limoges Band sitting behind an array of drums and cymbals. Each drum is made of porcelain and is painted in an ombre style that is deep purple fading to a violet color at the top. The cymbals are metal and spin freely around the center. The box opening is the big bass drum, and it opens on the side with a flower as a clasp. The drummer is sitting on a silver stool and is wearing a dark purple tux, so dark it appears black in the picture. He has a wooden drumstick in each hand. (Note: these drumsticks are glued to his hands - just fyi, in case that will bother you. It's barely noticeable but you can see the glue.) This amazing box is marked Chanille Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 2½"h x 3¼"w.
