This is a fabulous miniature of Starry Night, painted by Van Gogh in 1889. You may remember Don McLean's song "Starry Starry Night" which was based on this famous painting. The painting has a lovely golden frame with soft curvy corners and it sits on a three-legged metal stand. It may be displayed without the stand. There is a tiny porcelain painter's palette with brush tucked inside.
