Chanille Asian Geisha Limoges Box

This incredible box is painted with such detail that it is hard to describe adequately. A lovely geisha is kneeling on a pillow. She is wearing a lovely blue floral kimono with dark raspberry trim and is holding a golden fan. You can see her tiny feet from the back view. A gorgeous umbrella that coordinates with her kimono is helping to shade her from the sun. The clasp is a tiny flower. The box is marked Chanille Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 3"h.
