Monet Compact with Mirror Limoges Box

This beautiful box boasts a lovely Monet style painting on top, painted in soft pastel tones with a pale aqua base. The lid is domed with a gentle curve that allows the box to display beautifully at all angles, and the clasp is a tiny leaf. Inside, the box holds a mirror in the lid, so the box could actually be used as a compact. However, there is another incredible painting in the style of Monet on the bottom of the box, so I doubt you'll want to put any powder in it and risk obscuring the incredible artwork. The box is marked Cardinet Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed by the artist. It measures 1½"h x 2½"w.
