Alice in Wonderland book has a cover picture of Alice standing with
the Queen of Hearts. Alice is holding a flamingo in her arms, so Alice
and the Queen are probably in the middle of their unusual croquet
game. The clasp is a key and there is a tiny porcelain teacup tucked
inside. (Cup is not removable.) The box is marked Peint Main,
Limoges France and is signed by the artist. It measures 2"h x 1½"w
(standing on end). |
