In the traffic circle on the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées you'll find this historic square featuring an obelisk decorated with
hieroglyphics. The Place de la Concorde has quite a history… let's just say Marie Antoinette was not sightseeing here. But millions have visited since the mid 1700s when the "Place Louis XV"
(its original name) was first constructed. A view of the Arch de Triomphe as seen from the Place is
