Chanille Mermaid on Shell Limoges Box

This lovely mermaid looks as if she is posing for a picture! She has long blond hair, which is good because she is not wearing a shirt! Her tail is painted in iridescent colors of blue and green that shine with the colors of the rainbow. Her shell is gorgeous - the top is peach and white and shines with a mother of pearl glow. The underneath is painted with concentric rings, just like a real shell. The clasp is a leaping fish and there are underwater plants painted inside. The box is marked Chanille Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 2"h x 2½"w.
