Dubarry Faberge Butterfly Egg with Perfume Limoges Box

This fabulous egg is reminiscent of the Russian Faberge eggs and is incredibly decorated! The background is blue and graduates from a light blue at the top to a darker blue at the bottom. Beautiful butterflies and bright exotic flowers contribute to make this egg a magnificent example of the finest Limoges quality available. The butterflies have tiny "jewels" accenting their bodies, and there are sprinkles of gold dust that make this egg shine! This very special egg opens up revealing a raspberry perfume bottle with a fancy lid. The clasp is a fancy flower and there is a beautiful cranberry tassel attached at the top. The box is marked Dubarry Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered from a Limited Edition of 500. It measures 3"h x 1¾"w.
