Dubarry Guruchka Teapot Limoges Box

Dubarry has a terrific collection of Teapots, each painted with meticulous detail and packed with its own porcelain teabag tucked inside. What a nice touch! This is one of my favorites and is called the Guruchka Teapot. It is decorated in bold black with lots of gold and a thin blood-red ribbon running along the edges of the design. An oriental style dragon is painted on both sides. The clasp is a fancy flower blossom and, of course, the tiny teabag is hidden away inside. The box is marked Dubarry Peint Main, Limoges France and measures 1¾"h x 2½"w.
