San Francisco, Part 1, Bridge Limoges Box

This incredible box of the San Francisco Golden Gate bridge is part of a set of boxes showing the San Francisco area. (This one is the lower box as shown in the picture below.) They may be displayed individually or next to each other as a pair. This box shows the long stretch of bridge over the Bay with a tiny yellow car on one side and a small house on the other. The water is a deep beautiful blue with whitecaps around the bridge structure. The clasp is a sailboat and there is an outstanding picture of San Francisco painted inside. The box is marked Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 4½" wide.
