San Francisco, Part 2, Alcatraz Limoges Box

This incredible box of the San Francisco Alcatraz Prison is part of a set of boxes showing the San Francisco area. (This one is the lower box as shown in the picture below.) They may be displayed individually or next to each other as a pair. This box shows the island where Alcatraz Prison is located. The water is a deep beautiful blue with white currents flowing out to the ocean. The clasp is an eagle and there is an outstanding picture of an interior cell in Alcatraz painted inside. As a special touch, some brass keys to the cells are included! The box is marked Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 4½" wide.
