Artoria Imperial Elephant Limoges Box

This white Imperial elephant is carrying a covered platform on his back for royalty to sit. The poles are made of shiny twisted metal and the top is a peachy swirl with blue fringe and a golden top. There is a fantastic decorative cloth on his back and a coordinating hat. Even his tusks are decorated in true royal fashion. The base looks like pink marble with peachy flowers along the front. The clasp is a Sun. The box is marked Artoria Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 3"h x 2½"w.
