Artoria Lovers in Boat Limoges Box

This wonderful box was inspired by Renoir’s paintings. The bow of the boat is covered with colorful flowers. The man and woman are dressed in their finest clothes and she is carrying a pink parasol to block the sun. The water is lovely and is painted in soft shades of blue. The clasp is a tiny dragonfly and there is a romantic heart painted inside. The box is marked Artoria Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. It measures 2"h x 2¾"w.
