Chamart Oriental Pot Limoges Box

This terrific box is decorated with an Oriental flare! It is covered in expensive gold with Asian figures created in detailed relief along the front and back. On the front a gorgeous woman is standing before a kneeling man. On the back, a geisha woman dressed in red is sitting on a cushion with a red pagoda in the background. On the top is a lovely flower with a bench and sky, also done in relief. The clasp is a flower blossom and the entire inside of the box is painted to look like blue marble. The box is marked Chamart Peint Main, Limoges France and measures 2¼"h x 2"w.
