This beautiful dragonfly has landed gently on a lily pad. His wings are intricately made and are slightly elevated over the box (not part of the box). They are painted in a lovely color that shines with pink and blue highlights. A pink flower is growing on the lily pad and is another nice dimensional addition to the box. The clasp is a flower and there is a terrific scene of a frog painted inside. The box is marked Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed by the artist. It measures 2¼" round.
