Rochard Carousel Horse Limoges Box

Who doesn’t love a fabulous carousel horse? This one is beautifully painted in white with an ornamental saddle and bridle and generous amounts of gold. The horse’s tail and mane are painted completely in gold, and there are golden notes painted on the base as well. The horse is mounted on a metal pole, as a real carousel horse, and it can move slightly from side to side. The clasp is a horse and there are musical notes painted inside. The box is marked Rochard Peint Main, Limoges France and measures 3½"h x 3"w.
