What a great box for the fisherman in the family! This fishing basket looks like it is made of straw with green trim and a green pocket on the front. The strap is real leather. The clasp is a tiny lobster and there is a metal loop on the front to prop the extendable fishing rod along with its bob and the last fish that was caught! The pieces of the rod actually move to extend the rod to a longer size. Tucked inside is a tiny porcelain fish. Must be a flounder since it is so flat! (smile!) The box is marked Dubarry Peint Main, Limoges France. Approximate size is 1¾ x 1¼ x 1¼ inches.
